Design Consultation

To fully assess your project scope, we begin with a one-hour consultation at your chosen location—typically your home or office.

This session allows us to understand your vision while you learn about our expertise and approach.

Home Tour

During the consultation, we will take a brief tour of your home or office. This helps us understand the space, lighting and other elements that should be considered in the design plan. Your style and functionality for each space, along with identifying existing furnishings that should be included in the plan, are mutually determined. An inventory and photographs are taken, along with room measurements, so we can create an outstanding design just for you. Before the design process begins, both style and an investment level are agreed upon.

 

Design Plan & Presentation

At the design studio sketches, renderings and floor plans are created.  Custom window treatments and upholstered furnishings are designed for you with fabric selections based upon your functional needs and aesthetic style.  All other room elements such as lighting, accessories, and floor coverings are selected and incorporated into your plan.  Product availability is confirmed with suppliers, a design presentation is created, and our presentation appointment is confirmed.

During the presentation, where all decision makers are present, we reveal our recommendations for creating the space of your dreams. Together, we’ll discuss any adjustments necessary to the design plan.  Once a final plan is agreed upon, a contract is signed, and a deposit is secured.

Installation and Final Reveal

If your project includes renovations, we handle big construction work first. Painting and wallpaper applications are scheduled early  to protect your new custom furniture from spills or glue.

You’ve waited patiently. Installation day is the most fun part for you and your designer! Please give the team space in your home to guide the installers for window treatments and lights.
